Ok, I just arrived from school and to mind you, it was the first day of my 2nd year in college.
A new school year has just officially started, and I am really excited about what will I be encountering this time. Since it was the first day, as I have mentioned, there was not much going on -- just a bunch of attendance checking, basic redundant (lol) orientations and summaries of our course subject. Other than that, it was fun meeting with pipz again.
By the way, I haven't spoke of my life as a college student. I study in a University named UNO-R. It is short for: University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos. It was named such because It is located in the province called Negros Occidental (look that up). I say, this school is one of the best in our region, not only because it offers quality education, it also accommodates students from the Nursery levels, to College Levels. In fact, I have been studying in this school from my Nursery years... That's like 14 years of agony in the same school! (Loyalty Award FTW!)
Anyhow, I am currently taking up Computer Engineering (tough one!) and as I have mentioned, this is my second year of being a regular student. That means I luckily passed all those Analytical Geometry and stuffs-that-I-don't-want-to-mention.
Back to the first day story, of course, as we always do, we just hung up in this place called the Battlestation. Basically, it is a LAN shop that is composed of 150 units of PC's (AMD Athlon POWERED) and is the nest of all pro gamers in Bacolod (my home city!). We only hang up here if we have free time. Aka Vacant times and the-lazy-professor-is-absent times. Don't get us wrong! Of course we game to all of our hearts content, but we balance it with our studies... AND GRAB A COUPLE OF DRINKS IF WE HAVE MONIESS! Yes, that is hyperbolically true!
In addition to the last one, I can say that we have numerous places to hang up near the university, excluding the boring university itself. In the future entries, I hope I can provide pics of the top places we always hang out, including the epic Battlestation!
For the meantime, just stay tuned to this blog, and make sure to comment below because I want to know the feedback of the flock!
P.S. Make sure to check this blog this Friday for a [Legit Goods] entry!
~Cheers!
I wish you good look during your college time.
